Workshop Overview
Join us at The Commons for an introductory tarot workshop with Susan Mitchell. This free session is designed for anyone curious about tarot—from complete beginners to those with some experience.
During the workshop, participants will explore how tarot can be used as a tool for self-awareness, reflection, and clearer decision-making. Susan will guide the group through ways of interpreting the cards by considering both their traditional meanings and the symbolism within their imagery.
The class will use the Rider–Waite–Smith tarot deck as a reference, though participants are welcome to bring and work with any tarot deck they prefer.
This session is meant to be an accessible introduction to tarot, with the possibility of offering more in-depth classes in the future depending on community interest.
Recommended Book: Learning the Tarot by Joan Bunning
Please bring: A 78-card tarot deck, such as the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, or another tarot deck of your choice.
