Outwash: Cape Cod’s Story of Change is an interdisciplinary exhibition and panel discussion that tells the story of the natural and cultural history of Cape Cod while considering its future. This exhibition invites five artists into dialogue, all of whom hold a personal and artistic relationship to Cape Cod. The resulting work engages with the richness and depth of this place while considering the intersecting challenges of climate change and environmental degradation, the ongoing housing crisis, immigration, and what it means to love your community in an imperfect world.

Participating Artists: Nins Ortega Elliot Shafnacker Milisa Moses Carl Lindgren Grace Emmet Grace Emmet is an eco-artist, writer, naturalist, and educator. Her place-based art and writing practice is dependent on an intimate relationship with the land informed by her foraging and natural ink making process.
