COLLABORATIVE MARK MAKING - ART PROJECT

  • The Commons 46 Bradford Street Provincetown, MA, 02657 United States (map)

Collaborative Mark Making: A Community Art Project
Facilitated by Margot Stage

Join us Thursday, April 2 from 4–6 PM at The Commons. This event is free and open to everyone.

Be part of a dynamic, community-driven art experience where the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts. Participants will gather around a large shared canvas, moving from place to place and responding to one another’s marks with new layers of color, texture, and gesture. The process is playful, spontaneous, and rooted in creative exchange—an opportunity to contribute without attachment to individual outcome and to experience the energy of making together.

Artists are welcome to bring their own art supplies, and materials will also be provided for all to use.

The resulting artwork will be exhibited in The Commons’ Exhibition Hallway from April 3–April 13. Installed on April 3, the piece will remain a living, evolving work throughout the exhibition, with opportunities for visitors to continue adding and embellishing it over time.

Join us in shaping a collaborative artwork and celebrating the creative spirit of the Outer Cape community.
