Artist Statement:
Wyld Art is more of an emergence than a purposeful creation. Exploring images that hold my attention, and reaching a state of playfulness where thought is abandoned and paint flows opens the door to creation for me. Whether a specific image appears or not, the piece comes through on its own terms. Viewers will see and feel from the individual perspectives but hopefully, intrigue, questions and return investigation are commonalities to the experience. Materials are unlimited. Art is everywhere and can be made with anything.

Artist Bio:
Wyld began expressing art through design and building of homes. When the desire to paint emerged, and with no formal training in painting, it was instinctual to draw on skills learned in construction and using the familiar tools and materials of that field became foundational to the creation of the artworks. Wyld began the painting journey in her Hudson, NY, basement, and more recently in her Provincetown studio.
